Betty Ann Husman, age 74, of Baltic, died on June 1, 2021, at her home of natural causes. Memorial services were held on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at Baltic Lutheran Church. Interment followed at the East Nidaros Lutheran Cemetery, rural Baltic. The service may be viewed on Betty’s obituary page at www.minnehahafuneralhome.com.
Betty was born on July 23, 1946, to Arleigh and Jacoba (Van Holland) Brown. She attended country school near Harrisburg and graduated from Harrisburg High School in 1964. On August 21, 1964, she married Dennis Husman. They lived in Harrisburg until 1968, when they moved to Baltic. Betty raised her kids and also was a teacher’s aide in Baltic. Later in life she worked at Electronic Systems and Hutchison Technologies and also cleaned houses and painted.
Betty was a member of Baltic Lutheran Church. She was a very caring person and would always help those in need. One of her greatest joys was watching her two grandkids, Jasper and Bennett.
Survivors include her sons: Jay (Vickie) Husman, Colton, and Tom (Jessica) Husman, Sioux Falls; grandchildren: Allan Urban, and Jasper & Bennett Husman; special family, Dawn Norton and her children, Michelle, and Logan; siblings: Earl (Jackie) Brown, Sioux Falls, Joanne Hoekman, Madison, SD, and Mary (Mike) Wheeler, Coal Valley, IL; sister-in-law, Pat Brown, Ashby, MN; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dennis on December 24, 2006; son, James in 1973; and a brother, Arleigh Jr.
